- I am 20 years old living in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. I have been living here for a year now and have loved every minute of it. I have learned so much from living in Mexico, and have taken so much for granted before that I never realized. Even though I miss my family and friends, I know that this is where I am supposed to be at this time of my life. I am in love with Lalo Carmona, who I met 2 months after moving down here, and live with him in our small cozy apartment. Right now my days consist of going to the beach, watching the sunset and thanking God for every bit of this. I have no idea where I will be in 1 year, and that is what keeps this journey exciting. I chose to take a program through college for Travel, Tourism, & Hospitality and am in the best place for experience. I chose not to keep studying back in Illinois and I have never regretted it. Someday I might decide to go back to school, but right now Im enjoying this adventure too much. :) There are so many things I want to see and will. I have the best family and friends supporting every decision I make and I couldnt ask for more. I am livin the freeee life. And its gets better and better every day. =)
